New Rumor Claims an inFAMOUS Project Is Currently in Development

New reports have fueled speculation that the inFAMOUS franchise could be making a comeback after years without a new release. The beloved action-adventure series was once one of Sucker Punch Productions' flagship franchises before the studio shifted its focus to other projects.

According to gaming journalist Jordan Middler from VGC, sources indicate that an inFAMOUS-related project is currently in development. However, the report also claims that the project is not being developed by the original Sucker Punch team.

Very little is known about the rumored title at this stage. The available information does not clarify whether it is a remake, a remaster, or an entirely new entry in the series, leaving fans to speculate about what form the franchise's return could take.

The rumor comes as Sucker Punch Productions has spent the past several years focused on developing Ghost of Tsushima and Ghost of Yōtei, with no official announcements regarding a revival of the inFAMOUS series.
